2022 Cabernet Franc Rosé: NEW RELEASE
Our NEW vintage of this much-loved rosé has aromas reminiscent of strawberry freezer jam. It's a favorite with salty snacks or fresh summer salads. Made from the prized Cabernet Franc grape, the 2020 is a delicate pink salmon color. It is delicious served chilled.

2020 Yakima Valley Cabernet Franc --
Great Vintage -- coming soon!
For over 15 years, Chinook has produced a Cabernet Franc from our estate vineyard and selected growers' fruit in the Yakima Valley. The 2018 Cabernet Franc is 100% varietal and from 100% Yakima Valley AVA grapes. Our hands-on, minimal processing produces a Franc which is soft, drinkable and low in tannins. To emphasize the Cabernet Franc characteristics (cherries, raspberries, licorice, violets) we choose to age this wine in neutral oak barrels. In the 2020 season, grapes were grown at Chinook's Estate Vineyard and Boushey Vineyards.

Yakima Valley Merlot -- NO LONGER MADE.
Chinook Wines has been producing Merlot since 1984, & the vintages just get better with age! Vanilla, plum or cherry are some of the interesting mix of aromas and flavors you might find in this wine. Natural food affinities are lamb or herb-crusted salmon on the grill.

This very limited production of Cabernet Sauvignon is made entirely from the historic Yakima Valley. Careful selection of grapes from Oasis Farms & Lonesome Spring Vineyard, gentle handling of both the fruit and the wine, and several months of aging in French oak barrels create a complex range of aroma and flavor. Enjoy it right away or years in the future.
